At Designs By Mamta, we ship globally from our studio in India. Our shipping operations are optimized to ensure your fabrics, cords, and craft supplies are packaged securely and dispatched rapidly.
1. Processing & Making Times
Before your order enters transit, please allow time for us to prepare your materials:
- Ready-to-Ship Items: Processing time is 1 to 3 business days.
- Handmade & Made-to-Order Items: Our artisanal items require a making time of 3 to 5 business days prior to dispatch, depending on the requested quantity.
2. Global Delivery & Tracking
We provide full tracking information and a dedicated tracking number for all packages that we send. Once dispatched from our studio, the estimated flat delivery time for the United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Canada, Australia, and most other international destinations is 15 to 20 business days.
3. Free Shipping & Bulk Wholesale Discounts
Free Shipping: We are thrilled to offer complimentary free shipping to any eligible destination worldwide on all orders totaling $100 USD or more.
Bulk & Wholesale: Our pricing is already highly competitive, but we love supporting large-scale creators! If you are purchasing in bulk (mostly 100 units and above in a single transaction), you qualify for a special discount. Please contact us prior to checkout to receive your special wholesale coupon code.
4. Notice for B2B & Company Purchases
If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, corporation, or registered company, international customs requires specific commercial identification. Please leave a note during checkout (in the “Add a Note to Order” section) providing your complete Company Name, Registered Business Address, and your VAT / Tax Identification Number. If you have questions regarding this requirement, please contact us before placing your order.
5. Customs, Import Duties & Incoterms
To provide complete transparency regarding international taxation, we utilize specific shipping terms based on your location:
- United States Deliveries (DDP): Orders shipped to the USA are sent Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). You will not face any surprise customs tariffs or clearance fees upon delivery.
- Rest of the World (DDU): All other international destinations are shipped Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). Product prices and shipping fees do NOT include international import duties, VAT, octroi, or local customs charges.
Buyer Responsibility:
For all DDU shipments, the buyer is strictly responsible for paying any applicable import taxes, tariffs, or clearance fees levied by their country. It is the buyer’s sole responsibility to respond to customs notices and collect packages held at their local post office or customs border. Designs By Mamta assumes no liability for packages delayed, abandoned, or confiscated due to unpaid local customs fees.
6. Restricted Delivery Addresses & Domestic Sales
- No P.O. Boxes (USA): At this time, we do not deliver to P.O. Box addresses within the United States. Please provide a standard residential or commercial street address at checkout.
- Military & Diplomatic Addresses: Due to international courier restrictions, we are currently unable to ship to Military or Diplomatic addresses (APO, FPO, DPO) anywhere in the world.
- No Domestic (India) Sales: We operate exclusively as an e-commerce export business and do not sell or ship within India. Any orders placed with an Indian delivery address will be immediately cancelled at the buyer’s cost.
