Description
“Anahata Chakra” is a mandala pattern that looks similar to our heart chakra. It is flower shaped and has 12 petals. I have added instructions for both the simple one-color version and the colorful version in this applique pattern.
I was designing a different mandala pattern and this pattern just popped up on its own while I was crocheting. Seriously, I didn’t make it. It had a mind of its own and it all happened on its own. I love it when this happens. It’s like the universe is telling me to meditate on my Anahata Chakra.

Suggested Yarns:
I used a size 10 weight thread and size 1.75mm crochet steel hook to make the applique. I used approximately 15-17 yards of thread which is Lotus International (India) Red Rose Stranded Cotton which is an embroidery floss.
I Used:
Lotus International (India) Red Rose Stranded Cotton(100% Cotton; 42 yds; CYCA # 0): #Apple(A), #Red(B), #Orange(C), #Gold(D), #Lemon(E), 1 ball each.
Crochet Hook Size: 1.75 mm/ US 00 size crochet steel hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
Finished Size: 3 inches across.
