Description
“Grain Of Earth” is a pendant necklace pattern. The pendant part shows how to add a cabochon or any other element while crocheting over it and fixing it in place.
The crochet necklace is a simplistic pattern which is even suitable for beginner’s level crocheting.
The necklace is quick and simple to make yet looks quite trendy and fashionable. I used waxed cording in earthy colors which makes it look more manly. However, if you use a different yarn/ cord color and elements, the necklace would look and feel quite different.

Skill Level: Easy
Suggested Yarn: You can use any 2mm waxed cotton cord for making this necklace. For making the pendant, you will need approximately 18-20 yards of cord. For making the twined necklace, you will require 2-3 yards of cord.
I Used: Designs By Mamta Cord (100% Cotton; 10 yds; CYCA # 0): #Brown(A), #Black(B), #Green(C), 1 skein each.
Crochet Hook Size: 1.75mm/ US 00 crochet steel hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
Finished Size:
Pendant measures 2” across (2.75” with loop)
Non-crochet necklace measures 9.5” long. (12.5” long along with the pendant)
Crochet necklace measures 10” long.(13” long along with the pendant)
