Multicolored Fabric Twine Cord

Description

This beautiful Multicolored Fabric Twine Cord is perfect for all DIY craft projects. This variegated twine is made by me using polyester fabric ribbon. I sell new and not recycled fabric in my shop. As a result, I end up with lots of fabric scraps in the end. I recycle those scraps to make different things, one of which is this yarn.

Size: Width varies from 4mm to 5mm

I used different floral print polyester sari fabric in different colors to make a ribbon, then I hand twisted the long yarn. It is very unique because the colors will keep on blossoming and changing in each and every yard of yarn. I never expected two different worlds to meet together in such a beautiful romance.

I hand sewed each ribbon to another ribbon with matching thread. Then I hand twist 2 of these ribbons together to make this twine. It takes me a lot of time to make it. But I love to know that I made my own yarn & now you will be able to use my handmade creation to make something beautiful.

I have kept the edges of this cord raw or unfinished purposely to give it an organic look. I feel it adds a certain mystic & give a wild touch to this art yarn. The ends are left raw which adds an added touch of handmade charm to this yummy art yarn. It makes the yarn look like an eyelash yarn. The end result of anything you make with it would be absolutely stunning.

I hand twisted this fabric twine using an age old method that my mom taught me. She used to spin yarn on Charkha and knows many homemade techniques. Unlike other saree ribbon yarns. I have meticulously strips of fabric with my own hands from long sarees, one at a time. Due to its handmade nature, there will be some unevenness which is the beauty of all handmade things. :)

You will receive the cord as a skein if it is a small yardage. Otherwise, it will be sent wound on a flat cardboard.
