This beautiful Rainbow Fabric Twine Cord is perfect for all DIY craft projects. This variegated twine in mixed/ rainbow colors is made by me using muslin cotton fabric ribbons.

I sell new (not recycled) sari fabric by the yard in my shop. I end up with loads of small fabric scraps in the end. I recycle those scraps to make different things, one of which is this twine/ yarn.
I use a floral muslin cotton sari fabric in different colors to make a ribbon, then I hand twisted the long yarn. It is very unique because the colors will keep on blossoming and changing in each and every yard of yarn.
The ends are left raw which adds an added touch of handmade charm to this yummy art yarn. The end result of anything you make with this tattered twine would be absolutely stunning.
I hand twisted this fabric twine using an age old method that my mom taught me. She used to spin yarn on Charkha and knows many homemade techniques.
Unlike other saree ribbon yarns. I have meticulously strips of fabric with my own hands from long sarees, one at a time. Due to its handmade nature, there will be some unevenness which is the beauty of all handmade things. :)
