Description
Enjoy making this ‘Uchiwa Earrings‘! Hello, my name is Mamta Motiyani. I have always been fascinated by different cultures of the world. One of those is the Japanese culture. I love the look of the dainty and delicate ladies adorned with a Kimono while holding a handmade paper fan. I love it so much that I bought a few vintage Japanese fans. I later learnt that these fans are called “Uchiwa” in Japanese.
I always knew I would be converting the Uchiwa pendant into a crochet jewelry someday. I did not make a pendant, I made it into a pair of earrings in 2018. Finally, I got around to writing its pattern. Yay to Uchiwa! Now the entire world can enjoy my long ago loved memory.
